Marrakech to Sahara
Early wake up today as we head straight to the airport to fly to Errachidia. Our driver will pick us up at the airport and we'll start making our way to the Sahara.

We'll have some pit stops along the way including the Palm Valley of Ziz and Erfoud (which is known for the dates market and fossil excavation). Once we arrive in the desert of city of Merzouga, you can choose to make your way to camp via camel ride or 4x4 and catch sunset on top of the gorgeous sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. We'll get to the desert camp where the staff members will welcome us with mint tea and pastries as a Moroccan ritual.

Dinner under the stars is included tonight followed by some night entertainment performed by the staff members using drums and castanets. Get a good night sleep in your glamping tent.

+Catch a ride to the Khamlia village. Nestled amidst the golden dunes near Merzouga, Khamlia is renowned for its vibrant Gnawa music, a rhythmic blend of sub-Saharan African and Berber melodies that resonates through the village streets.

Desert to Dades
We'll slowly start making our way towards to coast with our driver today. Before ending out day in Dades Valley, we'll get to stop via Rissani and the Todra Gorge. During this part of our journey you'll start to get a glimpse of the Atlas Mountains.

Dades Valley - Marrakech
We'll get some classic tourist stop in on today's leg of our road trip such as Rose Valley and Ouarzazate - the "Hollywood of Morocco" where you'll get to see the UNESCO World Heritage site and famous backdrop for film sets like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. We'll end the day driving through the High-Atlas mountains before ending back in Marrakech.

Have a slow morning to yourself before meeting our local chef for the day in the souk. We'll learn how select spices and fresh, local ingredients before going back to the chef's house for a cooking class!

As an independent gal who has spent the last five years travelling solo or joining various group trips on my own - I've always made the best of the trip and found a few people to explore with but I never felt that connection that cemented on the trip, lasting after we had travelled back home. And I've been on a few trips that were not a vibe due to the group, guide and just lack of organization. The Girls Trip Series has been exactly what I have been searching for! I am SO lucky that my calendar finally aligned and I was able to join my first Girls Trip Series trip in August visiting CDMX with an amazing group of women who all were seeking exploring a new city, sharing a good meal, building connection and giving themselves a break from the hectic lives we lead in our day-to-day. This trip was one in a million - the location, the experiences and the PEOPLE made it truly magical. From the Welcome Meeting I could sense any nerves amongst the group melt away. That is a direct reflection of Ally's mission for The Girls Trip, the type of people she attracts to her trips and how she creates space for the group to truly connect with each other. The week was full of fostering those connections, exploring the city together, lots of laughter and ultimately taking time for ourselves - something we don't do enough of. The itinerary was the perfect balance of tailored experiences (hot air balloon at sunrise say less!), down time, dinners on the town, afternoon spent wandering pockets of the city, nights in relaxing + chatting and of course downtime solo when you felt you needed it. A quick note about Ally, I admire her for taking something that she is passionate about and finding a way to bring to the world! It was amazing to see women on the trip who had never travelled solo before unlock a new way to discover the world, and for those of us who have travelled we have found a travel community that unlocks new destinations alongside women who we can share these incredible experiences with. Ally, thank you for creating this special community that I know will continue to grow and thrive with your energy, curiosity to find new destinations and your gift to bring women together. Life changing, unforgettable girls’ trip to CDMX! ✨ This trip was everything I didn’t know I needed. Over the course of our journey, strangers became friends. We shared endless giggles, meaningful conversations, and moments that softened my heart. I explored hidden pockets of the world - and of my own soul- in ways I never expected. For someone who has held back travelling for years because of life, kids, work and responsibilities, I am finally at a place in my life where I can prioritize a bit more "me" time and get the opportunity to share it with someone. The thought of always going solo was daunting and then along came The Girls Trip Series into my life! This summer I've hit 2 destinations with 2 different groups of women and I have to say I'm NEVER looking back. Mexico City surpassed all my expectations. The food, well more food, culture, hot air ballon rides, shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, drinks, nights out, my eyes saw it all and I want to go back! Tomorrow. Ally really has got a feel for how women love to travel. A light schedule with options and a personal travel consultant at our finger tips every step of the way for what ever we felt like. Joining The Girls Trip Series in Mexico City was nothing short of transformative. I was both excited and a little nervous to join a group of women I had never met before, but from the very first moment, Ally created an atmosphere of warmth, openness, and joy.
