I went on this trip solo, hoping to meet a group of like minded, fun women, and explore Namibia. I came away with memories I’ll cherish forever!
We got to see all the sights, from the otherworldly landscapes of Sandwich Harbour to an almost unreasonable number of safari animals, while spending our days laughing with a group of women who were strangers at the start and friends by the end. Namibia was spectacular, but what made the trip truly special was the people, both the women I travelled with and the local communities we had the opportunity to interact with. I left in awe of the strength, resilience and spirit of women, and grateful for the chance to experience a little of everyday life beyond the tourist highlights.
A special mention to Ally, who clearly put a lot of thought and care into curating this trip. It felt like a carefully considered balance of incredible sights, unique experiences, meaningful cultural interactions and time for the group to connect. She communicated well before and throughout the trip, managed everyone’s expectations, and made sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into (always useful when travelling across Namibia with a group of women you’ve just met), She was a fantastic host, attentive and organized without making anything feel overly managed, and brought plenty of fun herself. Turns out, being competent and entertaining is a rather unfair combination.
If you’re on the fence, book the trip, you won’t regret it ❤️
